LOCAL COMMUNITY'S LAW ENFORCEMENT VISUALIZED - ALTOONA, WIS.

ALTOONA POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Altoona Police Department serves their Wisconsin community with pride and passion. I was tasked to captured images that will be used to promote Altoona, Wis. to an international officer exchange program partnering with Germany through the International Police Association. Through this exchange six officers will visit the Chippewa Valley for three weeks.

The goal was to create a visual representation that embodies the police department and the community in which they serve on a tight and demanding deadline. The images needed to reflect on the character of the officers and represent the close knit feel this city has. I also wanted to inject a sense of action and motion to make a stronger connection with others in law enforcement.

The Altoona Police Department aids their city with a population just over 7,000. Altoona is part of the Eau Claire metro but maintains a small town charm surrounded by forests and rolling farm fields. It is always an honor to photograph our men and women in blue who serve and protect us everyday.
